I originally built EchoTalk for myself — to practice English pronunciation even when I was offline and didn't want to share my voice with any server.
After a few weeks of daily shadowing, I noticed my confidence in conversations growing. My speech felt more natural and fluent.
It's still a personal tool at heart, fully offline, no accounts, no ads. I hope it helps you as much as it helped me. Feedback welcome! (and don't forget to practice every day 🙂)
